Is the room rate different for 2 people per room vs 1 person per room?
The best available room rate will not change based on the number of guests in the room. However, package rates are priced per person, so if you book a package, the rate will increase as you add additional guests. Thank you.

Do you offer a military discount?
Our resorts, Hershey Lodge and The Hotel Hershey, do offer a military discount on select dates. Discounts cannot be combined with any other offers or packages. Please call us at 855-338-6099 at your earliest convenience as our rates and availability (including discounted rate availability) vary depending on a variety of factors. Thank you!
I am a travel agent. Do I get a discount?
Our resorts do provide travel agent discounts. To book, please call our reservations team at 844-330-1802 for Hershey Lodge. The travel agent must show their IATA card at check-in and rates are non-commissionable. Please note, discounts are not available on holidays or holiday weekends or Memorial Day Weekend - Labor Day.
What is your cancellation policy?
Room, golf, and spa reservations must be canceled at least three (3) days prior to day of arrival in order to avoid fees and forfeiting your deposit. Early departure after registration will result in a $100.00 charge. Rooms booked in association with a group, meeting or conference may be subject to a different cancellation policy.
Can I get an adjoining room?
We do offer adjoining 2-Queen Guest Rooms. As long as both parties have the request noted on their reservation, we do our best to accommodate them. Thank you.
Are coolers permitted in the rooms?
Yes, coolers are permitted in the rooms. However, they are not permitted in Hershey’s Water Works or any public space. Thank you.
Do you do anything special for birthdays/anniversaries?
Hershey Lodge offers a selection of gift baskets and towers to make your stay extra special. Please contact the concierge at 717-533-3311 or ask your Reservations Agent when booking your stay. When does the shuttle run?
Free front gate shuttle service to and from Hersheypark runs on a continuous loop when Hersheypark is open. Wait time is approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on local traffic.
What are the extra hours included with Preview Plan and Hersheypark Sweet Start?
Resort guests with any 2024 ticket type may enjoy Hersheypark for free extra hours the night before their full-day visit. Sweet Start allows guests of The Official Resorts of Hersheypark to enjoy 1-hour early access during the summer public operating season only.

Can I buy a day pass for Hershey’s Water Works?
Hershey’s Water Works at Hershey Lodge is an exclusive amenity for overnight guests of Hershey Lodge. Thank you.
Can I use the pool prior to check-in?
Check-in is after 4 p.m. If you arrive before 4 p.m. and your room is not ready, you can pre-register and receive access to our amenities, including Hershey's Water Works.
Can I use the pool after checkout?
Guests can access Hershey’s Water Works up until 3 p.m. on their day of checkout.
Can I get my Hershey Gardens/ Hershey Story Museum tickets prior to check-in?
Check-in is after 4 p.m. If you arrive before 4 p.m. and your room is not ready, you can pre-register and receive access to our Free Resort Benefits, including tickets to (Hershey Gardens/Hershey Story Museum).
I can’t swim. Can I bring a raft or flotation device?
Rafts and flotation devices are permitted in the pool on a case-by-case basis based on pool volume, so we cannot guarantee that they will be permitted on the day of your visit. However, you will be permitted to wear a life vest. Please note that all non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you.
Do you have life vests/ swim floats available on-site?
Yes, we offer life vests on a first-come-first-served basis.

Free front gate shuttle service drops guests off at the exclusive resort drop-off location at Hersheypark, which is adjacent to Hershey's Chocolate World Attraction.
Does it stop at Hersheypark Stadium?
Free front gate shuttle service drops guests off at the exclusive resort drop-off location at Hersheypark, which is adjacent to Hersheypark Stadium.
Does the shuttle still run when Hersheypark is closed?
No, free shuttle service to Hersheypark is only available on park operating days.
Can I use the shuttle service on the day I check out?
Yes, guests can hold onto their room key and use the shuttle after checkout.
Does it stop at GIANT Center?
No, free front gate shuttle service drops guests off at the exclusive resort drop-off location at Hersheypark. Guests are welcome to use the marked sidewalks and bridge to walk to GIANT Center from Hersheypark.
Dining
Can I make a reservation at a restaurant?
Check HersheyLodge.com/dining first to see if reservations are accepted (certain restaurants do not accept reservations).
Where can I redeem the breakfast included in my package?
Your breakfast credit can be used at any of our Hershey Lodge restaurants serving breakfast.
What’s included with the breakfast in my package?
Breakfast includes the buffet when offered, or your choice of entree, side, and non-alcoholic beverage. Tax is also included, but gratuities are not.
General questions about food allergies
We take food allergies seriously at Hershey Lodge. If you, or someone in your party, has a Food Allergy or Dietary Restriction, please alert your server when dining, and ask to speak to the restaurant manager. He/She will be able to help guide your menu selection.
